Show (shared) private repositories on user profile

Issue #3129 wontfix
Jon Langevin
created an issue

When viewing a user profile on Bitbucket, any "private" projects that user is a member of are of course hidden from the viewer. But if you are part of the very same projects, you should ideally be shown a list of the private projects that user is a member of, that you have permission to see as well.

    Hi Jon,

I think I might be misunderstanding you here.

The behavior you describe is how the public profile page currently works.

If I have access to your private repos then I will see them on the right with the lock icon locked.

I will not see your repos that I do not have access to.

Please let me know if I am not understanding correctly.

Then perhaps this is specifically an issue when a user is a repo member via a group?

I have several projects that I have shared with a group. That specific group only has 1 member currently (but I used a group in anticipation of others joining the group). If I view the sole group member's profile, I see 0 repositories.

    The account username is "aloha".

    Hi Jon,

Is the problem that you want to see repositories that a user has access to but that they do not own on their public profile?

We only ever show repositories owned by the user on the public profile. It's supposed to be a summary of what they own, not what they have access to.

    Is this what you mean?
