Issue #3144 resolved

Former team members still receiving e-mails re issue tracking (BB-3159)

RadialSG
created an issue

Two former team members are still receiving e-mails regarding issue tracking. It happens whenever I change an issue that was originally created by them.

They've told me to stop these e-mails from being sent. Also, I do not like them to receive updates on these issues.

Can I (or they) disable this? Preferably in a central location so that I don't have to change all the individual issues.

    Hi Mark,

When you create an issue there is an option to follow the issue as well.

If your former team members are following the issues they will receive updates for them.

I am afraid there is no way to bulk-unfollow issues. You can disable notifications from Bitbucket altogether but we do not yet offer a detailed notification configuration screen (hopefully coming soon).

If the team members no longer have access to the issue tracker they should no longer receive updates, but if the tracker is public that won't help you.

Sorry I don't have a better suggestion, cheers,

    Dylan

    Hi,

I'm re-reading this e-mail from a couple of weeks ago, and noticed you said the following:

    • If the team members no longer have access to the issue tracker they should no longer receive updates, but if the tracker is public that won't help you.

The issue tracker is http://bitbucket.org/radialsg/viewport/issues/ but that is not public. The issue is #77, which originally was created by the former team member (gkoller). Whenever I change this issue, he still receives an e-mail about it -- but I don't see any way to prevent this!

    Hi,

Sorry for the late reply. Are you sure you removed those users from your repository? When they have no longer have access to your repository they should not be able to receive more issue tracker notifications.

    Hello Mehmet,

Yes, this user has been deleted from the repository. I am looking at Admin > Access Management > Users, that should be the place to look right?

    Regards,

    Mark

K, something went wrong then. Could you please send an email to support@bitbucket.org with repository details, we'll fix it.

I'll resolve this issue as we'll handle the issue over support.
