    From http://www.wikicreole.org/wiki/Lists:

    - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

    Nested lists can be mixed by repeating the list item character multiple times:

    Creole:

    * Item 1
    * Item 2
    ## Item 2.1
    ## Item 2.2

    Recommended HTML:

    <ul>
    <li>Item 1</li>
    <li>Item 2
      <ol>
      <li>Item 2.1</li>
      <li>Item 2.2</li>
      </ol>
    </li>
    </ul>

    - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

    HTML Bitbucket's preview actually generates:

    <ul>
      <li>Item 1</li>
      <li>Item 2</li>
      <li>
        <ol>
          <li>Item 2.1</li>
          <li>Item 2.2</li>
        </ol>
      </li>
    </ul>

    The ordered list is in its own li, rather than being part of the "Item 2" li as per the spec.

    The WYSIWYG editor is riddled with bugs and usability problems. Since we plan to replace it, we won't devote time to fixing its many deficiencies.
