Wrong username (?) referenced in issues

Issue #3768 resolved
Former user created an issue

A couple hours ago I received several notifications from a project
that I have never heard before. When I checked the issue pages, they
say either I created the issues and/or actioned/commented in some of
them, although I have never done that.

I noticed, though, that one of
the people involved is also named Ronny. His username is
"RonnyPfannschmidt" while my Bitbucket username is 'ronny'.

I'm still trying to figure out what went wrong here.

All affected issues were updated recently (8 hours ago) but were created/commented on well in the past.

One way this could happen is if we performed some kind of issue import (e.g., trac) that simply used the usernames from another system and matched them to the same usernames on Bitbucket.

To confirm my suspicions, I don't see any 'create issue' events for the aafshar/pida-main repository.

I'll contact the owner of that repository to see if an import was the case, and if so, what the correct mapping of usernames should be.

    An update:

I'm yet to hear back from the repository owner.

If I still haven't head back by next week, I'll remove you (and the other affected user) from these issues.

    Regards

    Nicolas
