Did you run update-server-info on the server?

Issue #3851 invalid
Anonymous created an issue

"git -c core.quotepath=false fetch origin fatal: https://veedfj@bitbucket.org/veedfj/it-ssns.git/info/refs not found: did you run git update-server-info on the server? Completed with errors, see above"

I can not push, pull, checkout or rebase because of the above. Any tips appreciated. I have never seen this error before and don't get it at all.

If you need more details, I will do my best. Suggestions on details to provide and how to obtain them are welcome. Although I don't consider this a minor issue, I am not sure if this is of major priority. Sorry, if I'm off...

Solved. The issue was a renamed repository. Doing a fresh checkout and everything is working fine. I think there is nothing to fix here based on the assumption that bitbucket should not maintain aliases from old repository names, nor could the client I am using have any way of knowing that the repository had simply changed name and auto-update.

If you landed here because of a Google search this is what resolved it for me: Go to Settings -> Repository details in your bitbucket repository. You or another admin might have changed the name of the repository. Change the name back to the original name that is used for your local repositories.
