More distinct colors for (un-)selected tabs

Under certain light conditions it is very difficult to see which tab is active.
Overview, Downloads, Pull requests, Source, …
They all are shown in “dark white”, while the active tab is just a tiny bit whiter. It would be nice to somehow indicate more strongly which tab is currently active. This could be done by chosing a slightly darker background color for unselected tabs, or by making the soft lines around the active tab thicker.
