Markdown: Readme.md is not rendering properly

Hi,
I have a Readme.md at my (public) repository https://bitbucket.org/mathematicalcoffee/status-area-horizontal-spacing-gnome-shell-extension.

It has some images (the links work, I checked) and inline code in backticks, as per Markdown syntax. The inline code and images have stopped rendering on the Readme.md in the Overview tab. I've attached a screenshot to show what I mean.

I've checked with the python markdown_py, and the syntax is correct (when I do markdown_py Readme.md > Readme.htm and look at the resulting file in a browser, it displays as I expect).

What is causing this?
