User-to-user messages behave strangely (BB-4236)

I sent a message to someone and wanted to send a followup after I discovered something related. So I hit reply, and sent that off. Here's where the UI gets confusing. The reply says it is from me and to me. Either the UI is misrepresenting the message (and it did go to the other person) or it is telling me the truth and that it actually did the wrong thing. Did it go to the other person or just to me? If the latter, can this be fixed, please? Thanks.
