Issue #4361 wontfix

Import from HTTPS with privately signed key is not supported

Yoav HaCohen
created an issue

When importing from an SVN with a privately signed key, I get the following message and the import fails. Instead, it should prompt the user if he wants to allow access for the server or not.

23:15:53 svn import for: https://my_server.com/my_project 23:15:54 Checking out https://my_server.com/my_project... 23:15:55 svn: OPTIONS of 'https://my_server/my_project': Server certificate verification failed: certificate issued for a different hostname, issuer is not trusted (https://my_server.com) 23:15:55 Svn checkout failed: <class 'bitbucket.apps.async.tasks.ImportException'>: Command failed. Return value: 1

The svn importer is a pretty simple system that doesn't even take a mirror of your repo. You may want to use the newer available tools like git svn or hg convert to move your data over to your desired scm, then "push" it all up into the site. This way, you'll also keep your history.
