RSS link reports "You must have read access to access the RSS feed." after several hours (BB-5356)

I subscribe to several private repositories via RSS but after several hours, my RSS reader reports an error and then claims "You must have read access to access the RSS feed." I then navigate to the repository and acquire a new RSS link which then works for several hours and the process repeats.
