HTML in issuetracker

The markdown documentation indicates that HTML may be used if the element is "separated from surrounding content by blank lines, and the start and end tags of the block should not be indented with tabs or spaces."

This does not seem to work for <pre>. Let's try it here:

Before and after.
</pre>Hmmm.
