I can't push changes to the repo. I am finding it difficult to find the cause of the problem with this message:

ResponseError: ('unexpected response:', '') abort: unexpected response: empty string time: real 5.79

What does that Response error mean? And why am I getting this?

    That's mercurial dumping its entire stack. Apparently we respond with an empty string in response to your push. I'm not sure why this is happening.

    Can you push this repo to a new, empty one? Can you push to other repositories?
