Sphinx multilanguage features

Hello,

Within the sphinx documentation I couldn't find much multilanguage features.
I was wondering if it would be possible to build in some built in functionality to write your documentation in several languages?
I could imagine for example to have english, dutch and german documentation available for a given project within the same sphinx root.

While building the documentation those language versions could be considered too and some kind of language cross reference could be established. The dutch "intro.rst" could be linked to the (default) english one for example as being a translated version. At this point a language switch of some kind (at least for the html version) could be implemented too.
