Viewing profile, grouping of repository stats

When I view my profile, it seems as if the stats for the top repository is the aggregate of the stats for all the repositories. For example, my top repository says it has 3 followers when I am the only follower, while the rest of the repositories say they have 0 followers even though I am following them. I am assuming the same is happening for commits because my top repository has 100 commits while the rest have 0 commits.
