Issue #6023 open

send email to users of a repository (BB-7281)

I'd like to be able to send an email to all the users of private repository. For example, to announce a release.

Each time I invite a user, I have to remember to add their email address to another list I maintain separately, since once they are in the repository access list, not only do I not have a way to email the list, I can't even see their email address anymore - it just shows their Bitbucket name.

It'd be nice if at least the email address didn't get "lost" and doubly nice if it was easy to either get the list of email addresses, or better yet, just send a note to the list.

Thank you for your suggestion. I agree that this would be a useful feature to have. While we have no near-term plans to implement this, I have created a ticket in our internal tracker for it and I will be leaving this issue open for additional community feedback. For the time being, please remember that you can always send messages to entire teams by visiting the team's profile and clicking the "Send message" button in the header.

Yeah, the team feature really doesn't help with this requirement. Fwiw, it really adds insult to injury that once an invited user accepts. you can't even see their email address anymore. So I have to keep a list of who I invite to the private repo entirely outside of bitbucket, or I lose the ability to contact them....
