POST/Services not working

I had a POST service setup and working yesterday just fine. I noticed today that it had stopped functioning so completed the following tests;

Changed URL to a different server and watched access log - no access recorded.
Changed to Posttestserver.com - nothing recorded.
Added twitter service with my personal account authorised - nothing recorded.
Tried another repository POST service to no avail.

Each time I added or edited a file.
git add file
git commit -m 'test'
git push.

The Push seems to be working just fine on the web interface, just no POST service.
