user aliases change user on Commits pane but not in Recent activity in Overview

I checked something in and the global git user name on my local machine was used (not a valid bitbucket user) and so I setup the appropriate user alias and this fixed the issue in the Commits pane of the repository but the Overview pane's "Recent activity" stream still shows the unrecognized user name (and I'd like it to not be visible).

the repo in question is here: https://bitbucket.org/GeekAndDad/uiimage-stencil-experiment/overview and you can see that "Tyler" made a commit after "thedad" created the repo. In the Commits pane you can see that the Tyler's have all been mapped to "thedad" properly.
