README.rst on overview page does not display code blocks (BB-7801)

I have added code block to readme.rst:

.. code:: python

  class Movie(ImagedModel, DummyUrlMixin):
      DETAILS_TEMPLATE = "movies/movie_details.html"

Can it be at least be displayed like preformatted text? Or better docutils should be updated to version >=0.9 so that it's rendered in color (see attachment)
