created an issue

Hi, i created a git repo and when I try to import:

macbook-luis:simapp luis$ git remote add origin https://luisito@bitbucket.org/luisito/simapp.git
fatal: Not a git repository (or any of the parent directories): .git

and the url: https://luisito@bitbucket.org/luisito/simapp.git returns 404.

this is a bug?

    Hi

    The error message

fatal: Not a git repository (or any of the parent directories): .git

indicates that you are not running the git remote add command from within an existing git repository.

If you don't yet have a local copy of that repository you created, then you should run

    git clone https://luisito@bitbucket.org/luisito/simapp.git

Also, the URL https://luisito@bitbucket.org/luisito/simapp.git is valid when working with the git command, but for your browser, drop the ".git" extension, i.e., https://luisito@bitbucket.org/luisito/simapp does not 404.

    Cheers

    Nicolas
