I can't mention a user with a short last name

I have a coworker whose last name is only 2 letters long. Standard lexicographic order will always put a short word like "of" before a short word like "offer", which is a really good idea.

The Bitbucket mention dropdown doesn't do this, so I can't mention David Ma. I'd mention him here, but I can't.
