Issue #8200 resolved

Please add "Closes #xxx" present form verb to Issues hook (BB-9361)

I just noticed that issues aren't closed on push if the commit message contains "Closes #1".

I guess it's simply because "closes" is not a valid hook. While "fixes" and "resolves" are present in the list at https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/BITBUCKET/Resolve+issues+automatically+when+users+push+code - "closes" is not.

It would be super useful to allow this form of the "close" word to work, since that would match "fix" and "resolve".

    Hi Frode,

I verified that "closes" is listed as a valid keyword for the issues hook in our code, and that it works. If you continue to have trouble, I would recommend emailing support at bitbucket dot org for individual help.

    Cheers, Zach

You're right, it does seem to work now in a public test repository.

Anyway, the "closes" form isn't listed on the confluence page. Other than that I guess you can resolve this issue for now. :)
