Issue #8255 wontfix

Blocking Google Analytics breaks the site

David DIDIER
created an issue

I have Firefox with the NoScript plugin (http://noscript.net/). My configuration (obviously ?) blocks the "google-analytics.com" domain. But this setting causes some dynamic parts of the site to malfunction (to name a few : the watch dropdown, the access management list, the branch management list, etc...). The site is quite unusable.

    Hi David,

After some testing, the website should be able to work without scripts from googleanalytics.com or newrelic.com. However, you do need to allow all scripts coming from *.cloudfront.net.

All of our resources are hosted on a CDN so you will need to download this for the site to work.

That said, we do not explicitly support users with noscript or other script blocking tools. So please bear this in mind if you wish to continue using noscript.

    Cheers, Brian
