Issue #8495 wontfix

As repo administrator I want to be able to lock/freeze a pull-request to prevent accidental merging (BB-9607)

We use the pull-request flow quite extensively, and it happens that a specific merge has time dependencies on other internal processes. Since we have multiple people authorized to manage pull-requests, it would be nice to have a feature where we can lock a specific pull-request so that accidental merging can be prevented. At the moment we put warnings in the comments, but these get overlooked every now and then.

Locking and unlocking should be nothing but a 'click-barrier', anyone authorized to merge the request should be able to override/unlock.

While I understand the situation, I don't think this is something that we'll have time to work on in any reasonable timeframe.

As a result, I'm preemptively closing this issue as wontfix.
