Wiki not accesible on public repository

I would like people to have read access to my wiki contents, but not edit ones. My repository is public, so I have configured the wiki as

• Private wiki;
  visible only to people who have repository access

As everyone has read repository access, they should be able to see the wiki. This is currently not the case.
