Issue #8695 resolved

Can't create private repository (BBS-6760)

denys281
created an issue

Hi! I have strange issue. When I try create private repository, it gives me error:

Making this repository private would push denys281 over their plan limit.

Is there any limits for private repository?

So, I create public repo, and than change it to private.

    Hi Denys,

There is no limit to the number of private repositories you can have with a free plan. The restriction you saw was based on the number of users that would have access to that repository.

When you create a new repository, your existing Groups will be added to that repository. In some cases, that could cause you to share that repository with more users than your plan allows for.

However, because you have invited friends to Bitbucket, you have extra users on your account. We were not calculating that correctly for creating a new repository. This has been fixed and you should be able to create private repositories again.

    Cheers,
    Michael
