Mercurial issues and very slow response times

When pulling or pushing to our mercurial repositories (from odigeoteam) we are getting a lot of 500 errors:

"abort: HTTP Error 500: Internal Server Error"

we need to retry till 3 times to get the action done.

Also the site is getting very slow, creating pull request is a nightmare.
