User selectors don't work properly on Android/Chrome

Using the Chrome browser from Android 4.4.2 (KitKat), none of the Bitbucket user selector widgets that I've tried (specifically on the Admin > branch permissions screen) seem to work properly.

Typing a name in the box brings up a completion list that appears to be the first 5 available names (of my bitbucket team in this case), none of which match the text that I've already typed in the selector. Deleting or typing more text in the selector does not appear to refresh the completion list and there does not appear to be any other way to get it to redisplay using the typed in name as a filter. Hiding and then redisplaying the Android keyboard doesn't appear to help either.
