http: protocol in static websites

Hi, I am using bitbucket to host a static website. It is an awesome service, so thank you very much for that.

I am having a problem with references of the form href="http: that are then not followed by two slashes (//). In concrete something like <a href="http:www.google.com">doesn't work</a>, and tries to access http://myusername.bitbucket.org/www.google.com

The protocol https works as expected: <a href="https:www.google.com">does work</a>
