Editing palette example image does not display new image

I uploaded a palette example to my pending palette. I then tried to edit the example by uploading a new image. The submit didn't give me any errors, but when I go back to the pending examples page, it doesn't show my newly uploaded image, just the generic "lost image" icon. It also doesn't show if I go back to the palette example edit page. I refreshed several times and waited about 10 minutes just to be sure.
