Change of behaviour when adding an anchor with dot

Before the version 1.28, it was possible to reference anchors with dot. Ex:

anchorWithDot: &1.0

However, after the version 1.28 was released, this throws an Exception.

Yes, it was intentional:

Alias names are too permissive compared to libyaml and future spec.
