Losing entered data on backspace

can you disable backspace, when inputting new data and you press backspace, it goes to
previous page and all the data you've entered disappears and you have to start all over

This is a behavior that is being deactivated in recent version browsers. Maybe get the latest Chrome browser to see if this "fixes" the problem.
