Workbook School ID/Name mismatch

Maybe because connections not all refreshed?

Feedback from Newton below.

Doing the merge from the fat workbook to the new workbook and tried to select a school but the school id does not match the school name so it megres according to the school id and not the school name which get the wrong school merged into the new workbook.

I can do another method but would take a longer time to complete.

Sample below is a school in Ebon which the school code should start with EBO but it comes out KWA which is from Kwajalein.

May be that the Calculation mode is Manual - so that the formula giving the school number is not being updated on selection of school from the list. Recalculating the workbook (f9) should fix.

"Got it to work, workbook was getting drop down list from the other workbook where i was extracting the data from and not the workbook itself, and one of the schools was not where it was supposed to be causing the schools after it to change their school id."

When working with a workbook it would be better to have only that workbook to avoid any hard issues cause by other opened workbooks. Only for merges and rollover should there be more then one workbook opened and this in a controlled way for single purpose (i.e. merge or rollover)
