A report aiming to show what standard/criteria/sub-criteria are schools struggling with the most?

The key table for this will be warehouse.accreditations. You may also find the following views useful.

The report should be in folder “School Accreditations” and should be called

  • National School Accreditation Weaknesses (show all weak standards, criteria, sub-criteria for the whole nation)
  • State School Accreditation Weaknesses (show all weak standards, criteria, sub-criteria for a particular state)

You may find that it would be better to include in same report as #656

    Hi @Ghislain Hachey ,

    We have started working on the “State School Accreditation Weaknesses“ report and created a report. In the report we are showing school no, school name, standard, criteria, sub criteria and score of the school.

    We are using the score value (<=2) to consider the school as having weak standards. Is it correct? Please confirm and let us know if we have any other specific logic.

    Please check the attached file and share your feedback on the same.

    @Shraddha Tambe Yes, score <=2 is weak. However, in your report there is no easy way to read information from that. I would suggest you restructure this report a little. The idea is to find out the top weaker standard->criteria (forget sub-criteria for now). Something like this. The report should start with the following summary table.

    A table with first column “The Standard/Criteria”, second columns “Total Schools with Level 1/2”.

    Then you could provide more details such as listing the schools. But I would group by “Standard->Criteria” and list the schools with either a score of 1 or 2 within the groups.

    Hi @Ghislain Hachey , I hope you are doing good, please review the schools accreditation reports weakness and strength reports and provide us the feedback.

    @Shraddha Tambe The reports are good. You could make them a little more clear as follows.

    First, the criteria should also have the textual description like the standard. You probably should make the report landscape to better display the text. Give more space to the criteria column has it will likely contain more text then all others.

    Second, the order should be based on the Total Criteria with Score 1 has this is the most critical condition. So the school with the most score of 1 first and then descend. Also edit the “Total Criteria For Score 1” to “Total Criteria with Score 1”.

    Again, the Criteria column should include the textual description like the Standard. And again, the sorting should be based on the Standard first but then the Score 1 should be listed before the score 2.

    @Shraddha Tambe Also, why is the report in fedemis and miemis different. You don’t have the reports in the miemis school accreditation weakness in the fedemis. In fedemis it seems to be a small simpler report?! Please explain.

    @Shraddha Tambe One more comment regarding the data. This report display the data for a particular year, in other words for school accreditation conducted “in that year”. This is certainly useful but we also need a version of the report which will be identical but will take into consideration data “up to that year” in a cumulative fashion. For example selecting 2015 will not only generate for the school accreditation for that year 2015 but the best of the school accreditation for all year up to 2015. I will create a separate issue for that one with more details when the time comes.
