Alterac Valley Flags not changing after capturing

After trying to capture flag in Alterac Valley battleground (Snowfall Graveyard this time), it doesn't change and becomes unuseable for few seconds, after which it becomes "available to capture" again.
It takes a while for them to switch over. I went in and did the same graveyard and it took about 2 minutes for it to switch over. I do see what you mean though being able to interact with it even though its already grey. Thats the period in which the opposite faction can defend it from being captured but for some reason you can interact with it multiple times. Interacting with it after assaulting it doesn't do anything unless you are on the opposite faction though.
