Mobs will run back once they reach a certain leash distance.

Interesting observation. I tested it on very weak mobs, so I had to do as little damage as possible to not kill them. Good to hear that it works if you do enough damage. Thanks.

I tested it on some stronger mobs and with a good weapon but I still couldn't get infinite kiting to work and the mobs would run back pretty quickly but not always after the same distance.

I have experienced this as well trying to kite a mob away, if you dont do enough dmg they will just turn back around. Im still able to kite though, but not as far as usual, so i just kite them back n forth essentially instead of in a long line.
