concept search - showing implicit concepts where there are none

Issue #72 resolved
b created an issue

(1) Search for 'red' (2) Click on (s)-3-hydroxycarboxylate oxidoreductase in the Implicit relations area (3) Land on Implicit relations table, spinner indicates processing takes place (3) No hits returned.

The desired behavior here would be to not show the concept in the implicit part of the view unless clicking through would lead to results. If this is not feasible another way, a simple filter on semantic type for the returned concepts would help. Only genes and diseases can appear in the implicit results given our current database.

See Issue #41 regarding my effort to filter out Implicitome orphans.

There is, a huge caveat here though: remember that there are >200 million tuples, but we're only taking the top 1% percentile (more or less) for performance reasons. It is conceivable that some implicit concept entries may have tuples but that these are "below threshhold" for display thus "No results returned".

My Implicit orphan data audit is of a nature that I could add the additional constraint of ignoring tuples with percentile < 99%, i.e. defining 'orphan' as a status relating to concepts that don't have 1st percentile Tuple hits. We should discuss whether or not this constraint is desirable.
