Discovery Desktop - Poor Resizing

The Discovery Desktop does not smoothly transition between aspect ratios during a window resize. Many clusters of buttons seem to have different resizing behaviors, so this will probably take a bit of a reworking (i.e. go through the DOM and figure out what the ideal declarative model of DOM element positions in relation to each other will look like, in order to make this work).
