Multiselect for customfields / fields

Issue #2 new
Former user created an issue

Hi Steffen,

currently we would use 3-5 level one entries (Option 1), which all have ~10-15 second level (Option 2) entries. Currently we need to add each Option 1 + Option 2 one-by-one. It would be great to have the Option 1 and two Option 2 selected and then we could pick the customfields with a multiselect picker. With that, the configuration page will look much cleaner with:

|| Context || Option 1 || Option 2 || Show ||

| Support | JIRA | Permission | Supervisor, JIRA Project, ... |

Thanks & Regards, Jan

    Furthermore we need one set of customfield relations for a set of 'Option 1' levels. Currently the last configured 'Option 1' with value x (Option 2) "wins"... the previous configured relations do not work. Raise prio!

    Hi Jan, As I understand you, you want to pick up the option 1 and 2 only once and add many configurations for many fields by one click?

    Hi Tom,

    this is correct. In regards to my last comment, a more detailed description.

    Our idea of the plug-in was, that we can use just one custom field (see screenshots) for all our configuration items. Our scenario was: 1. Add one custom field Affected Software 2. Option 1 values are JIRA, Confluence, HipChat, etc. 3. Option 2 values (for all Option 1 options) are Integration, Permission, Plug-In, etc. 4. For the relation Option 1 JIRA and Option 2 Plug-in AND Option 1 Confluence and Option 2 Plug-In we want to see the custom field Budget Owner. 5. For the relation Option 1 JIRA and Option 2 Permission AND Option 1 Confluence and Option 2 Permission we want to see the custom field Selected Users*.

    Regards Jan
