TFS_VERSION_SPEC Plan Variable used by plugin even after deleting

So far the TFS_VERSION_SPEC plan variable support you added a few months back has been great. We just discovered though, that if we delete the TFS_VERSION_SPEC variable from a plan and then run the build plan, the Stellarity plugin still used the variable. I am thinking it might be cached? So far, the only way we have been to fully remove it is to re-create the TFS_VERSION_SPEC variable after deleting it and assigning it blanks for the release value.
