Names of banks are rarely used in their long form

Issue #1 new

Rarely the long name is used. Might expect to see BAAC instead of "Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives (BAAC)".

Other banks have short brands as well like SCB or GSB, GHB

discuss the tagging and change preset accordingly.

Bank of Ayudhya Public Company Limited (Thai: ธนาคารกรุงศรีอยุธยา จำกัด (มหาชน)), commonly referred to as Krungsri (กรุงศรี)

I think your present usage of the bank's long name with its initials in parentheses is workable. However, in the case of Krungsri Bank, the long name should be relegated to an alt_name:en tag. I don't know anyone who refers to the Bank of Ayudhya by its longer name.

A suggestion: add a checkbox for free wi-fi at shops, especially cafes, and if checked add two tags internet:access=wlan, and internet:access:fee=no

Most cafes offer free internet but some providers specialize in making maps showing wi-fi availability. Explicitly tagging it will be both useful and appreciated.

One other small item. You use the more correct word "Café "as in Café Amazon in your presets, but I have difficulty remembering how to use the accented character. Most of my work has used the plain "Cafe Amazon" as the name.

I'm not sure how that affects searches but mightn't the unaccented name be better even if not technically correct?

I have created a new issue #5 for the feature request of Wifi checkboxes.

Café Amazon is the spelling used by the company, see their franchise brochure. So we should use the correct spelling. With the preset it's quite easy to do so. http://www.cafe-amazon.com/th/franchise.aspx?type=franchise

Other spellings are workarounds, probably like you having problems with the (correct) french accents.

Search engines treat accents with sort of "fuzzy" logic. Works fine with nominatim: http://nominatim.openstreetmap.org/search.php?q=cafe+amazon&viewbox=99.01%2C18.88%2C99.02%2C18.87&polygon=1&bounded=1
