Allow non-anonymous voting
Issue #45
new
Reasons:
The intent of some polls might be to not just figure out a vote, but to see who is up for which option.
For example, if you want to organize a meeting / office event / ski trip / whatever, and you're voting on days people can attend, it would be very useful knowing who votes which way.
Facebook messenger polls are automatically non-anonymous.
To me, non-anonymous voting is far more useful than anonymous voting.
And of course, there's #1 of the company's core values, Open Company, No BS.
UI Strawman:
- Add a checkbox when creating a poll for whether it should be anonymous or not
- perhaps even default to non-anonymous
- Display the creator of a poll in the chat message, the side bar summary of all polls, and the side bar detail view
- Pop up a window with the people who voted on a poll choice option when clicking/hovering over "(# votes)" in the chat, and when clicking/hovering over a vote bar in side bar detail view
