    @sebotic @andrawaag If you like, I can generate a file with one column being entrez id and one column the URL of a protein image, if there is one (or more) on a gene wiki article as of now. I will do this tonight unless you don't think its useful.. I hope this makes a one-off import rapid - though I guess there could be a challenge of selecting the correct protein record to link the image to...

    that would make things easy. The other way would just be to walk through the GeneWiki templates by entrez id and get the image links/names from there. Thx!

    The files are ready and have been uploaded to the hip chat room. Currently we are taking the approach of linking the image currently being displayed (if any) in the PBB template on a gene page directly to the gene via the plain 'image' property. The other PDB images are in a separate file that links them to their uniprot and entrez ids. These can be attached directly to the protein records for later use, though they will not immediately impact {{infobox gene}}

    Gene expression images have been added to gene items with the GeneExpressionAtlas property, preferred protein images for use in infoboxes have been added to the image property on gene items
