How to extract parts of an identifier to populate the claims with property "'URI pattern for RDF resource'"

Issue #64 wontfix
Andra Waagmeester created an issue

Quite some identifiers include a prefix (e.g. GO, DOID, PMID) to make them more recognizable. However to include these prefixes in URI, the colon is replaced with an underscore. Before this was solved in wikidata to only consider the prefixless part of the identifier and concatenate a <PREFIX:> or a <PREFIX_> before this identifier. We reintroduced the prefixes for DOID and GO for obvious reasons, but this now breaks the URI pattern captured for the RDF. This needs a proper fix.

This issue seems unsolveable. WIkidata uses the $-sign to map a value in url/uri patterns. A better sollution is to not to use that property all, that is at the level of the property page, but use the property "equivalent class (P1709)" to map individual URIs
