  1. Download latest distribution zip file from the download panel
  2. Open Blender application. From menu bar, select File -> User Preferences...

  3. Switch to Addons tab

  4. Click on Install From File... button at the bottom of window

  5. Select the zip file you downloaded in step 1 in the file browser and double click on it

  6. Find Mesh: SOFA Export plugin in the list, click the checkbox next to it to enable it.

  7. Hit Save User Settings to keep the plugin activated permanently
