[py3] False error: imports in if-else statements

Stefan Scherfke avatarStefan Scherfke created an issue

flake8 complaines about the redefinition of "setup" in flake8’s setup.py:

/home/stefan/Code/flake8/setup.py:9: redefinition of unused 'setup' from line 6

It thinks that the import in the else-statement overrides the import in the if-statement.

if ispy3:
    from distutils.core import setup
else:
    try:
        from setuptools import setup
    except ImportError:
        from distutils.core import setup # NOQA
