variability-models / Home

This repository contains a selection of extracted variability models and their propositional abstractions (dimacs) from several open source systems software projects. More information is available in the following paper, which can be cited when using the artifacts:

Thorsten Berger, Steven She, Rafael Lotufo, Andrzej Wasowski, Krzysztof Czarnecki, "A Study of Variability Models and Languages in the Systems Software Domain," IEEE Transactions on Software Engineering, Volume 39, Issue 12. 2013 (also available as a technical report)

Artifacts in this repository were created by LVAT and CDLTools; see Steven She's repository for additional models (incl. many versions of the Linux kernel).
