Ribbon expand/collapse arrow duplicates itself when window resized on MacOSX

I'm running OS X Mavericks (version 10.9.2) with Java 7u51. The ribbon's expand/collapse arrow duplicates itself when I grab Terramenta's right side and grow or shrink it right or left respectively. Having both buttons does not impair the expand/collapse functionality.
