Gantt Chart macro - recurring tasks

Dear Atlassian Team,
when using the Gantt Chart macro, it would be quite wonderful to be able to have a function of recurring tasks. I.e. a weekly meeting would be displayed in one row only.
Would such a function be possible in the foreseeable future?

To implement this, we have to develop new a new Gantt Chart display because an open source library which we are using does not support this.

The task to create the new Chart is in the backlog and we don’t yet have planned date for it.
