Attempted to install markdown in grails. Errors occurred:

    @Sean van Buggenum - It looks like you've got an issue, but I'm not sure what the markdown plugin has to do with it. The error looks like it's attempting to get to an artifactory repository on your localhost server running on port 8081. Markdown doesn't have anything to do with this.

    I'm able to install it in a local instance and run without issues, and there aren't any references to an artifactory repo in the Plugin file or in BuildConfig.

        grails create-app mdtest
        cd mdtest
        grails install-plugin markdown
        grails run-app
    

    I'm going to close this issue as unrelated. If there really is some issue with markdown, please reopen and give me detailed instructions for recreating and I'd be happy to look into it further.

    yes, sorry, I think this must be something to do with grails itself. I haven't seen this before, but I only just recently upgraded my project to grails 2. .. I just then noticed I got the same errors installing another plugin. Sorry.
