using timesheet to enter hours for weekend (Sat/Sun) results in hours reported in previous Friday

When I use the plus sign to enter hours on Saturday or Sunday for a week, the hours show up as if they were entered for the previous Friday. I make sure the date is correct when entering, but it still puts it on Friday hours.

If I then go edit the hours, I can change the date to Saturday or Sunday and it then shows up correctly.

This just started happening in the last week or so.
